Location

Bexhill is situated on the south coast between Eastbourne and Hastings.

Collington House is located in a quiet, desirable, residential area to the west of the town, with an excellent bus service to the various town and shopping centres.

Management

Collington House is a detached property which was converted in 1975 into self contained flats which are owned and managed by the Manor Housing Association, a non profit making organisation.

Manor Housing Association was established to provide affordable housing for active retired persons who have lived or worked in the Bexhill district, but applicants from a wider area are now considered.

Retirement flats are available for purchase on a loan stock system enabling low prices to be maintained between £40,000 and £60,000.

It should be noted that flats cannot be used as security for a mortgage neither is sub-letting permitted.

The House

  • There is an entry phone system for security and convenience.

  • A lift is available to the upper floors.

  • For a modest charge, washing machines and tumble dryers are available for use by residents.

  • The house has a large communal lounge, a conservatory and a catering kitchen.

  • The maintained gardens are available for the residents to enjoy at any time of the year.

  • There is limited parking within the curtilage of the property, but on street parking is available in front of the building.
